    I met a person who's camera, if turned horizontal or vertical, would change the way the picture was displayed accordingly. What is the name of this feature?
    And does the Nikon s600 have this feature?

    It's called an auto rotate system and many digital cameras have this feature - sometimes it can be selected as a menu preference. I've no idea about the s600, sorry.
