E series would be Ai-S.
You'll get full functionality on D200, D300, D1(no matrix metering), D2, D3. No exposure metering on D40/50/60/70/80/100. |

FujiFilm S2 PRO,S3 PRO, and S5 PRO, all can accept Nikor lens, but AI, AF Lenses work better as they will use all the Auto functions that are available, and the E-Series lenses are not automatic.
Nikons of course use Nikor Lenses and also will benefit from having the AI, AF styles. unless you are good at setting the aperature and shutter times to get proper exposures accurately. Doing this is tough for the seasoned film photographer, let alone for the novice, so good luck. |
